SOUTH WEST CHILD AND ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH
SERVICE — FUNDING
606. Hon ADELE
FARINA to the Minister for Mental Health:
I refer to the business case submitted to the government by
the south west child and adolescent mental health service in early 2011,
calling for an immediate injection of $1.6 million in order for the south west
CAMHS to meet the then demand on its services. Noting the $220 000 committed by
government in 2011–12 for the employment of two additional mental
health professionals, I ask —
(1) What growth funding has been allocated to the south west
CAMHS in the 2012–13 budget?
(2) What
additional finding has been allocated to the south west CAMHS in the 2012–13
budget to address the funding shortfall of $1.6 million identified in the 2011
business case?
