(1) From 7 August 2000, a Taxi Dispatch Service (TDS) provider was required to have at least 20 taxis affiliated with it at the time of registration.  There are a number of TDSs that were registered prior to that date that have less than the 20 taxi limit and these are allowed to continue to operate as they were registered prior to that date.
(2) 13 [Swan Taxis, Black & White Taxis, Yellow Cab, Cabwest, White Eagle, Coastal Cabs, Tricolour, A Kwinana Cab, Rainbow Taxis, Top Cab, Carlisle Cabs, Swans Silver Service and Sorrento Cabs].
(3) Point in time statistics of the number of taxis affiliated with each TDS provider are not available.
(4) Yes.
(5) Registered TDSs are, from time to time, requested to provide fleet details.
(6) No.
