The Swan River Trust must also be consulted. In granting the lease the activity must comply with the management plan for the reserve. The current management plan expires in 2002, but will remain in force until replaced. It is expected that a revised management plan will be commenced before 2005. Subject to the above requirements (consultation and approvals) CALM intends to renew the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club lease to coincide with the management plan review period. Any new longer term lease will be subject to the provisions of the new management plan.
