The Department of Regional Development and Lands (RDL) ordered the following items for the 2012 calendar year. These items are ordered in bulk to ensure more value for money. In addition, items are ordered at the beginning of the year, prior to the community event schedule commencing.
(a)
- RDL notebooks x 2000
- Royalties for Regions (RfR) pens x4685
- RDL pens x 3000
- Bags x 4685
- Sunscreen x 4400
- Lip balm x 4400
(b)
- RDL notebooks cost per unit = $1.47
- RfR pens cost per unit = $2.47
- RDL pens cost per unit = $3.12
- Bags cost per unit = $2.55
- Sunscreen cost per unit = $3.45
- Lip balm cost per unit = $2.36
(c) The merchandise is used at corporate speaking, stakeholder and community events.
The merchandise outlined in answers (a) and (b) has been distributed at the following events:
- Wagin Woolarama
- Caravan & Camping Show
- 2037 Presentation: Institute of Public Administration Event
