representing the Minister for Road Safety:
I refer to the Road Safety Council
formed under the Road Safety Council Act 2002.
(1) Providing dates, on how many
occasions in 2024 has the Road Safety Council met?
(2) Will the minister please table
the minutes of each meeting?
(3) Has the
minister received the annual report on council activities for 2023–24;
and, if not, when is it expected to be received?
(4) Have any
communiques been published since the Road Safety Council's last

table them?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The Road Safety Council meets
quarterly and has met twice on 8 March 2024 and 31 May 2024.
(2) The minutes
can be found online. A website is listed here, but to assist the member, the
minutes have been tabled for both meetings.
(3) The annual report on council
activities is still in draft stage.
(4) All communiques
can be found online. There is a website link in the written answer. To assist
the member, I table that as well.
