Woodside Energy—H2Perth
1199. Hon Sophie McNeill to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to reports
of Woodside Energy's updated proposal for H2Perth and the Premier's recent
visit to Japan, where he was joined by Woodside Energy representatives to sign
an agreement regarding the project.
(1) Was the Premier aware that Woodside's latest
proposal only creates hydrogen using LNG?
(2) Is the Premier aware of where Woodside intends
to dump carbon captured by the project?
(3) Can the Premier confirm that at no point does
Woodside Energy intend to create hydrogen at H2Perth using 100% renewable
energy?
