DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH - RETRIEVAL OF EMAILS
I refer the Premier to his interview on the Stateline program on Friday, 21 June, whereby he expressed concern at claims by the Department of Health that it can retrieve emails from the computer system for a period of only 12 months. (1) Has the Premier sought further information from the health department; and, if so, what is the health department’s explanation for its claims about a three-month limit? (2) If the Premier has not sought further information, why not? (3) Has the health department found a means to retrieve computer records going further back than three months; and, if not, will the Premier ensure expert assistance is provided to the department to enable it to do so? Hon KIM CHANCE
