(1) Which non-Government organisation is assigned to manage the Community Coordinators?
(2) How many Community Coordinators are in the network?
(3) Will there be any more Community Coordinators joining the network?
(4) If yes to (3), how many?
(5) What are the agreed program and financial performance measures?
(6) What is the agreed evaluation framework?
(7) How many Community Action Plans (CAPs) are in place?
(8) Where are these CAPs in place?
(9) How many recommendations have been put to the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention?
(10) Of those recommendations, how many have had their initiatives funded?

(1) The Community Coordinators are hosted by a range of organisations including non-government organisations, government agencies and private bodies.
(2) Allocation of 24 Community Coordinators to support CAPs has been approved by the Minister. Community Coordinators to support 11 CAPs are in different stages of the approval process.
(3) Yes.
(4) It is anticipated that by June 2012 there will be 50 Community Action Plans (CAPs) in 50 communities and organisations, with enough Community Coordinators to implement and oversee these.
(5) These measures are particular to each individual CAP, but each CAP must align with the six Key Action Areas of the Strategy.
(6) The evaluation framework is outlined in detail on pages 7 and 8 of the WA Suicide Prevention Strategy Business Plan 2010-11, which is readily accessible on the One Life website

(7) There are 35 CAPs at different stages of development and/or implementation.
(8) The CAPs at different stages of development and/or implementation are in Roleystone, the Veterinary Association WA Divison, Kimberley Region, Karratha, South West Region, Pilbara Region, City of Mandurah, Shire of Cockburn, Goldfields Region, Noongar Country, Great Southern Region, Shire of Katanning and across WA communities in partnership with the WA Country Football League, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Questioning community, Act Belong Commit sites, Out of Home Care for Aboriginal children, multicultural services, and the Youth Advisory Council of WA.
(9) Each CAP has various recommendations and initiatives that are considered by the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention.
(10) Funding has been sought and approved for many different initiatives within individual CAPs. These will be accessible on the One Life Suicide Prevention Strategy website.
