Firefighters—Training
964. Hon Rob Horstman to
the minister representing the Minister for Emergency Services:
I refer to the firefighting
teachers—extraordinary individuals who, in addition to fulfilling
shifts at their station, are often required to facilitate training for other
firefighters.
(1) If a firefighter is required to facilitate
training, are additional shifts made available to backfill this person's time
away from the station?
(2) If not, how many shifts were unfilled due to a
firefighter being required to facilitate training in September?
