(1)-(2) Tenders for the redevelopment of the Geraldton Health Service closed at the Department of Housing and Works on 16 September, 2003. Five prequalified tenderers submitted a tender and were Broad Constructions Services Pty Ltd, Consolidated Constructions Pty Ltd, Devaugh Pty Ltd, Doric Commercial Pty Ltd and John Holland/Crothers joint venture. (3) The tenders for the redevelopment work are currently being evaluated by the Department of Housing and Works. (4) It is expected that the evaluation process will take approximately four weeks to complete upon when an announcement of the successful tenderer will be made. (5) The tender for the redevelopment closed higher than expected. The Department of Housing and Works is currently assessing possible savings to the project within Department of Health priorities.
