(a)-(c) With the opening of the METRONET Ellenbrook Line in December 2024, several requests have been received from the Bullsbrook community for a direct bus service to Ellenbrook to provide access to local employment, services and schools.
The current Route 311 bus, which runs between Bullsbrook and Midland, will be split into two routes:
These routes are proposed to operate every 24 minutes in peak, and every 120 minutes interpeak, weekends and public holidays – a significant increase in services and frequency.
As a result, commute times from Bullsbrook to the Perth CBD by public transport will significantly decrease, and Bullsbrook residents will have significantly better access to their nearest urban centre.
For school students who currently catch the Route 311 bus, a new Route 745 bus service will operate directly between Bullsbrook and Midland one trip before school and one trip after school, maintaining connectivity to the ‘orange’ school bus services.
