I have a supplementary question. Has the Premier, or any other minister or staff member, telephoned any police officer over this matter? Dr G.I. GALLOP

I have not phoned any police officers over this matter. I spoke to the member for Innaloo just before question time today, when he came in to see me about this issue. I believe that this is a matter for the Police Service. Everyone in my Government understands that the Police Service does its job without fear or favour, no matter who is being investigated. It is a matter for the Western Australia Police Service, and I believe all members of Parliament should show respect for that service and the important job it must do.
