I refer the Premier to the Attorney General’s comments on an ABC television news program on 12 April this year when he confirmed that dozens of police prosecutions would need to be reassessed by a special interagency unit to determine whether any corrupt activity had caused any miscarriages of justice. (1) Given the Attorney General’s involvement with the Lewandowski affidavit in passing it to the Minister for Health, can the Premier ensure that the Mickelberg case will be investigated by this special unit? (2) Can the Premier also ensure that the Julian Ripley case will be investigated by the special unit, given the extensive involvement in this case by two of his ministers - the Attorney General and the Minister for Health?
