I refer to staff at Gold Corporation, and ask: (a) How many staff have resigned from Gold Corporation between January 31 and March 29 of this year; (b) How many staff are currently on extended periods of personal leave, regardless of reason; (c) How many staff have started periods of extended personal leave since January 31 2023; (d) Between March 2021 and March 29, 2023, on what dates has the Minister: (i) Met with any board or staff Member of Gold Corporation; (ii) Spoken on the phone to any Member of the Gold Corporation Board or staff; and (iii) Visited Gold Corporation offices or any site managed by Gold Corporation; and (e) Has the Minister or his office spoken to the Federal Treasurer since May 1 2022 to discuss any aspect of Gold Corporation: (i) If so, on what dates did these communications take place; (ii) What was the mode of communication; and (iii) What was the topic of discussion?

(b) As at 30 March 2023, 1 staff member was on an extended period of personal leave of 12 months or more.
(c) Since 31 January 2023, nil staff members have commenced a period of extended personal leave of 12 months or more.
(d)
(i) In addition to the meetings tabled for Legislative Council Question Without Notice 309, the Minister met with the Chair and senior staff of Gold Corporation on 23 March 2023;
(ii) The Minister is in regular communication with the CEO by phone, and occasional communication with the Chair by phone. These calls are not logged;
(iii) 8 October 2021, 24 May 2022 and 29 September 2022; and
(e) No.
