(1) How many times since the Government was elected has the Premier met with Bruce Hawker? (2) Is the Premier aware that Bruce Hawker is a principal of Hawker Britton, a firm that lobbies Governments and advertises that it - (a) is well placed to provide strategic support to business through its Perth office, where its director, Megan Anwyl, is a former state member of Parliament with detailed knowledge of the processes and policies of the Government; (b) has worked with the nation’s leading politicians and bureaucrats throughout Australia at state and federal level and knows the inner working of government agencies and understands legislation and regulations; (c) can provide advice on the subtleties and nuances of government and politics - the competing demands, media pressures and realistic opportunities; (d) has worked on winning Labor Party campaigns throughout Australia, including Western Australia in 2002; and (e) advertises a reference from former state Australian Labor Party secretary John Halden that says that Labor’s landslide result in the 2002 Western Australian election was one of the greatest victories in the State’s electoral history, and that Hawker Britton worked at the highest levels of Labor’s campaign team and was a crucial aspect of Labor’s election strategy - from early planning through to election night? The PRESIDENT: Order! I am sure there is a question in there. Hon KIM CHANCE

(2) The Premier is aware that Bruce Hawker is a principal of Hawker Britton. He is unaware of the advertising engaged in by that company.
