I refer to media reports regarding cricket moving to the new Perth stadium once it is completed, and ask: (a) is it the Government’s plan to have cricket played at the new stadium; (b) does this include all forms of the game, both domestic and international; and (c) what are the Government’s plans for the short and long term future of the WACA Ground?

(a) - (b) The nPS will be able to accommodate all forms of the game, however the fixturing of events will remain the decision of WACA and Cricket Australia.
(c) The WACA is privately owned by the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA).  Any decisions related to the future of the ground are a matter for the WACA.
