(1) The September quarter 2008 services and contract expenditure for Joondalup Health Campus increased by $9.176M compared to the same quarter in the previous financial year.
(2) The reasons for this increase include increased services to meet the growing demand and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement increases. The increased services for the September quarter of 2008 comprised an additional 868 Emergency Department occasions of service (5% growth) and an additional 340 admitted patients.
