2, page 791 of the 2024 May State Budget, which outlines the works in progress
under Western Power, and for the financial year 2023-24 in each category of Distribution Capacity Expansion, Distribution Customer Access, Transmission Capacity Expansion, and Transmission Customer Driven, I ask: (a) please provide a list of all projects with a budget over $2 million; and (b) for each project listed under (a), please provide: (i) the budget for the project when it commenced; (ii) the current budget for the project; (iii) how much has been spent on the project to date; and (iv) what blowouts, in dollar amounts, have occurred in delivering the project to date?

Distribution Capacity Expansion
Capacity expansion projects for the distribution network address future loading and voltage obligations on Western Power’s customer load demand. Capacity Expansion investment is necessary to cater for load growth while preventing premature ageing of assets.
