I thank the member for some notice of this question. Mr Gregory Huntley Philip was not employed as a member of my ministerial or electorate staff. Mr Philip was contracted to work in my ministerial office from 2 May 2005 to 16 September 2005, to provide consultancy support on vocational education and training. He was engaged as a consultant under the ministerial contracts for service. Mr Philip’s consultancy fee was $440 a day, excluding goods and services tax.
