With regard to Point Torment gas field in the Canning Basin, the web-site
http://www.pesa.com.au/publications/pesa_news/april_03/junior_gull.htm,
and the statement contained within that web-site that ‘The drilling project would include the need to build a causeway on mud flats to support the drilling equipment’ -
(1) Is the Minister or her Department aware of this project?
(2) If so, when did her Department become aware of the need for a causeway?
(3) What level of environmental assessment will be ascribed to the project given the difficulties of access to the site and the numbers and types of mangroves that need to be removed to gain access to the site?
