For each department, agency, commission and Government Trading Enterprise within the Minister’s portfolio of responsibilities: (a) Did the organisation’s Corporate Executive/Executive Committee/Leadership Team hold a Christmas or end of year function in 2014 and, if so: (i) How many persons attended; (ii) Where was the function held; and (iii) What was the cost of the function; and (b) Where a Board or Committee exists, did the organisation’s Board/s or Committee/s hold a Christmas or end of year function in 2014 and, if so, for each Board and Committee: (i) What is the name of the Board or Committee; (ii) How many persons attended; (iii) Where was the function held; and (iv) What was the cost of the function?

Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority
(a) The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority held two Christmas/end of year functions in 2014.

Department of Environment Regulation
(a) The Department of Environment Regulation hosted a series of half-day state-wide team building events on 11 December 2014.
(i) 186 staff attended the Perth event, 8 staff attended the Albany event, 6 staff attended the Geraldton event, 7 staff attended the Goldfields/Esperance event, 3 staff attended the Bunbury event and 6 staff attended the Karratha event.
(ii) The Perth event was held in Kings Park and the regional events were held locally either on site or in offsite locations, such as local reserves.
(iii) The approximate total cost for both the metropolitan and regional functions was approximately $8,773 apportioned as follows: Metropolitan event - $7,792, Albany - $198, Pilbara - $207, Bunbury - $99, Geraldton - $162 and Goldfields/Esperance - $315. These costs were for venue and equipment hire and catering (food and soft drinks only).
