cape naturaliste-cape leeuwin area, exclusion zones
I think we have had enough theatrics for one day. I refer to the conflict in the Cape Naturaliste-Cape Leeuwin area between crayboats and other users of coastal areas such as surfers, recreational fishermen, tourists and swimmers during the peak summer holiday months. Will the minister honour the commitment of the previous Minister for Fisheries to set up a process involving all the stakeholders to review the current exclusion zones and resolve the longer-term issues relating to this interaction along the coastline? Hon JON FORD

I thank the honourable member for his question. Yes, I have received some briefing. I have talked to a number of stakeholders already and I intend to talk to many more. I have asked my agency to get back to me and present me with that process.
