(1)In conjunction with the introduction of the State Government's reforms of the
Liquor Control Act 1988
, the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor facilitated a public education and information campaign that included TV, radio and press advertising, as well as web-based information resources and direct to industry materials. The liquor reforms campaign was designed to inform the liquor industry and the general public about -
new liquor services available to the public
new business opportunities
enhanced responsible service of alcohol requirements
new law and order initiatives
(2) 2006 - $23,100 - general gazettal, advertising etc.
$ 3,900 - liquor reforms campaign.
2007 - $ 86,416 - general gazettal, advertising etc.
$695,584 - liquor reforms campaign.
