I refer to the commitment given by the Labor Party prior to June 2001 that an extension of the leases at Wedge Island would be granted until either a developer for the area is appointed, or completion of the construction of the Lancelin-Cervantes coast road and the spur to Wedge Island. What is the current status of the contingent issues, and what is the current status of the leases? Hon KEN TRAVERS

I have not received a copy of an answer for the member so far. If I receive it before the end of question time, I will certainly provide it. Hon George Cash: It’s an old one. Hon KEN TRAVERS: I have an old question from the member, but not that one.
