I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) One thousand and thirteen. (2) Fifteen. Most will be removed in the early part of semester two this year upon the completion of the new $7.5 million middle school building. (3) The application for the proposed school did not satisfy the legal framework for the approval of new non-government schools contained in the School Education Act 1999 and the School Education Regulations 2000, which deal with the impact that a proposal would have on the educational programs at existing schools, growth of the student population in the catchment area and the likely number of students to attend the proposed school.
