I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me by the Minister for Health. (1) There are 10 people on the waitlist for Kalgoorlie dialysis. Two clients have been waiting since August 2010. The extended period was due to a client currently residing in Perth requiring a nursing home placement in Kalgoorlie. (2) No. (3) In 2008, 24 people registered for haemodialysis and six registered for home therapies, making 30 in total; in 2009, 28 people registered for haemodialysis and six for home therapies, making 34 in total; in 2010, 28 people registered for haemodialysis and 10 for home therapies, making 38 in total; and in 2011 to date, 28 people registered for haemodialysis and 15 for home therapies, making 43 in total. (4) Yes. In the past 12 months, six people were requested to return to their own dialysis services as all chairs were fully utilised.
