(1) The Department has five (5) officers working at the Standards Monitoring and Reporting Unit working an equivalent of 4.3 FTE. A further 0.3 FTE is currently vacant.
(2) The standards officers are located in the Service Standards and Contracting Directorate in East Perth.
(3) As at 1 March 2015, there were 2,478 foster carers in the State.
(4) There are 16 community sector organisations providing foster care services for children in the care of the CEO across the State. There are another 11 community sector organisations providing out of home care services with other service delivery models for children in the care of the CEO across the State.
(5) The Department for Child Protection and Family Support have contracted Agencies for South West Accommodation trading as Accordwest to provide general foster care services in the South West region. The contract commences 1 April 2015.
