I refer to the 2009 Annual Report of the Office of Energy, and ask -
(1) What are the current CO2e emissions generated from the total Dampier to Bunbury Pipeline, by way of leaks and pumping stations, now and after the projected expansion?
(2) What renewable energy projects have been established in 2009-2010?
(3) What are the CO2e emissions generated by each power source that provides energy in Western Australia including and beyond the South West interconnected grid?

(1) Facilities and Corporations that meet or exceed the reporting thresholds under the
National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act (2007)
are required to report their energy consumption, production and emissions to the Commonwealth Government, using prescribed methodologies.
Reports of greenhouse gas emissions by registered corporations are publicly available from the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change website.
(2) The expansion of the Henderson Landfill Gas facility was established in 2009-2010.
Other renewable energy projects announced during 2009-10 include:
An agreement that will see the construction of the 206 megawatt Collgar windfarm near Merredin, comprising 111 wind turbines and producing enough energy to power 125,000 homes each year;
Funding to the Carnegie Corporation through the Low Emissions Energy Development Fund to assist in the development of a 5 megawatt demonstration wave power station near Garden Island;
The construction of two solar diesel power stations at Marble Bar and Nullagine;
Commitment to a net feed-in tariff that will provide a premium of 40 cents per unit of electricity exported to the grid from 1 August 2010; and
Funding of $0.6 million in the 2010-11 Budget for the Office of Energy to undertake research and planning regarding cleaner energy initiatives to assist the State to achieve its share of national renewable energy targets and encourage energy efficiency.
(3) The CO2e emissions generated by the Electricity Generation Corporation (Verve Energy) and Electricity Networks Corporation (Western Power) are available in the respective annual reports of these corporations.
