I appreciate that the minister has increased the budget for people with disabilities, but in view of the fact that 56 people missed out as category 1 cases this year and that the list is growing, what good will another committee be to look at this? Surely the answer is that this Government must - The SPEAKER: Order! The member has asked the question. Ms McHALE

In the last round 130 people were identified as category 1 cases and we are providing 75 places. It means that some family members will not achieve accommodation in the next round, but the Government is working towards building up that provision. It must be an incremental approach. The focus is on accommodation support, which is understandable, but we must never lose sight of all the other services that people with disabilities need. An undue focus on accommodation support could cause us to lose sight of respite and alternatives to accommodation. That is the complete picture. The Government takes a comprehensive approach to this issue.
