CORONAVIRUS — VACCINATIONS
862. Hon SOPHIA MOERMOND to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
Some overseas jurisdictions have
begun to adjust COVID-19 vaccination schedules to actively exclude males aged
18 to 39 years in response to an abnormally high incidence of cardiac events.
(1) In light of this, has the minister been briefed on
reputable new medical data coming from the United States on this matter?
(2) If new data
shows long-term risks to people in this category, will vaccination requirements
be adjusted in response?
