(1) As at 1 December 2008 how many people are currently on the Homeswest waiting list in Western Australia?
(2) Will the Minister be recommending the construction or purchase of additional Homeswest properties in the 2009-2010 State Budget in the suburbs of Maylands, Bayswater, Inglewood, Embleton, Bedford and Morley?
(3) If so, how many properties to be constructed or purchased in the suburbs of Maylands, Bayswater, Inglewood, Embleton, Bedford and Morley will the Minister be recommending?

1) 19,072.
2) No. The Department develops its capital program based on need, funding availability, and market conditions that are prevalent at the time.
3) I am advised that six units are planned to be commenced in Bedford and five units are planned to be commenced in Morley. No units are planned for Maylands, Bayswater, Inglewood and Embleton at this time
