(1-4) This information does not form part of human resource records maintained by the Department. However, on 1 September 2006 the Premier issued a policy directive to Ministers which states that members of a Minister's family are not eligible for appointment as ministerial officers from that date. The policy also states that where there may be any doubt regarding the relationship of a person proposed for appointment as a ministerial officer, it should be disclosed to the Director General of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet for his consideration before making the appointment.
