1201. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Minister for Emergency Services:
I refer to the Australian Fire
Danger Rating System and Legislative Council questions without notice 864 and
839.
(1) Will the minister please table
the revised SAP 3.5.A relating to total fire bans?
(2) Is the
minister aware of any concern relating to the implementation of the new fire
danger rating system?
(3) Has any
modification been made to the fire behaviour index model to adjust to the
experience post-implementation?
(4) How many local government authorities are yet to update
or replace fire danger rating boards as the high- threat period
approaches?

agencies are encouraged to monitor implementation of the AFDRS across Western Australia
and to identify opportunities for continual improvement.
