1467. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I refer again to the prospect of the
state government altering the date of the state election.
(1) As the
Premier has already publicly admitted to having sought legal advice concerning
this matter, will he now table the advice that he refused to table yesterday?
(2) If not, why not?

provided the following response.
(1)–(2) No. As the member is well aware, legal
professional privilege applies to legal advice sought by governments.
