COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND JUSTICE STANDING COMMITTEE REPORT — MINISTER’S RESPONSE
I refer to the report of the Community Development and Justice Standing Committee of the other place titled, “Making our Prisons Work: An Inquiry into the Efficiency and Effectiveness of Prisoner Education, Training and Employment Strategies”, tabled on 25 November 2010, and in particular I refer to the direction of the committee that the minister’s report on the action, if any, proposed to be taken by the government with respect to the committee’s recommendations be presented within the time permitted by standing order 277(1). (1) Has the minister provided that report? (2) If yes to (1), when was the report provided? (3) If no to (1) — (a) why not; and (b) when will the minister provide the report? Hon SIMON O’BRIEN
