In relation to the Minister’s media statement on 19 November 2010 that staff from the State Records Office (SRO) were assisting the Town of Claremont and that the SRO holds records of the Town prior to 1980, I ask:
(a) when was the Town of Claremont’s Recordkeeping Plan approved by the SRO and when was it last reviewed;
(b) will the Minister list all other local governments in Western Australia which have a Recordkeeping Plan approved by the SRO and detail when it was approved and when was it last reviewed;
(c) what action has been taken against local governments which have not had a Recordkeeping Plan approved by the SRO; and
(d) what is the cost of SRO staff and services being provided to Claremont?
