(1) No (2) Not applicable. Fire and Emergency Services Authority The Fire and Emergency Services Authority advise: (1) Yes. The policy pre-dates the February 2001 State Election. (2) The policy states "Membership subscriptions in relation to 'association membership' fees for employees and corporate membership for representation with various professional and social associations as well as Qantas Club Membership will be met by the Authority. Personal subscriptions are excluded". Western Australia Police Service The Western Australia Police Service advise: (1) There is a written policy in relation to club memberships, but not association memberships. (2) The Police Service Financial Management Manual stipulates that payment of club fees are unacceptable other than for airline lounge memberships as authorised by the Commissioner of Police by authority of Premier’s Circular 14/01, clause 9.2.
