I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) (a) 2013–14; not applicable.
(b) 2014–15; 30 March
2015.
(c) 2015–16; current.
(2) On 10 February 2015.
(3) Horizon
Power's SCI was approved by the Minister for Energy on 30 March 2015.
The SCI was considered out of date due to changes in Horizon Power's
demand forecasts and changing market conditions.
(4) Section
105(a) of the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 requires the minister to obtain
the concurrence of the Treasurer prior to agreeing to a draft SCI.
(5) Obligations
under the act are not being ignored, as concurrence from the Treasurer is
required before the SCI can be tabled. Concurrence will be sought and the SCIs
will be tabled following concurrence.
