(1) I refer to the Premier's announcement of a record Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) funding boost on Monday 1 December 2025, and $14.8 million commitment for refuge and transitional accommodation upgrades in Albany, Broome and Midland, and I ask: (a) how many new units are planned to be delivered; (b) can the Minister please table the expected completion date for each project; (c) what was the modelling used to inform that the expansion of units to 91 with 102 in the pipeline is sufficient to meet demand; (d) what is the average occupancy rate of FDV refuges statewide over the last three years; and (e) how many women and children were turned away due to capacity constraints in this period? (2) I refer specifically to the Kalgoorlie transitional accommodation project in the Premier's announcement of a record FDV funding boost on Monday 1 December 2025, and I ask: (a) what is the expected completion timeline for the refurbishment of the 16 units; (b) what supports will be co-located with the transitional units; and (c) what are the expected outcomes from the additional Safe at Home program funded for the region?

(a – b) There are a total of 17 rooms or units comprising:
(c) The increase of 91 additional units, with a further 102 units in the pipeline, reflects an ongoing commitment to increase crisis accommodation capacity for victim-survivors of family and domestic violence.
(d - e) The Specialist Homelessness Information Platform is managed by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW).

(a) The refurbishment of the 16 transitional accommodation units in Kalgoorlie is expected to be completed in 2026.
(b) Women and children residing in the units will have onsite access to specialist family and domestic violence support, including risk assessment, safety planning and case management.
