(b) The additional funding has already seen a number of improvements, with two of the three staged improvements for CAT bus services introduced.
On 1 August 2010 Transperth -
Upgraded the Red CAT bus service which resulted in a start time of 6am (50 minutes earlier than prior to the upgrade) Monday to Thursday. Friday services now operate until 9pm (more than 2.5 hours later than prior to the upgrade).
Upgraded the Yellow CAT bus service frequency to operate every eight minutes instead of every 10 minutes.
Upgraded the Red, Yellow and Blue CAT Bus services to operate every 15 minutes on weekends.
Upgraded Saturday Red and Yellow CAT Bus services which resulted in a start time of 8.30am (90 minutes earlier than prior to the upgrade) until at 7pm (60 minutes later than prior to the upgrade).
Upgraded Sunday Red and Yellow CAT Bus services commencing at 10am and extended to 7pm. The bus service frequency was also upgraded to every 15 minutes.
On 10 October 2010 Transperth -
Further upgraded the Yellow Cat Bus Service which resulted in a start time of 6am (50 minutes earlier than prior to the upgrade) until 7.30pm (70 minutes later than prior to the upgrade) Monday to Thursday.
In mid December 2010, Transperth plans to -
Upgrade the Blue CAT Bus service with services finishing at 7.30pm (70 minutes later than prior to the upgrade) Monday to Thursday.

(5) Service improvements were implemented on a phased basis from 1 August 2010.
