(1-3) 71 Wattleup Road, Wattleup is located within the area covered by the Hope Valley - Wattleup Redevelopment Act (Latitude 32). As such, the property is not zoned under the Metropolitan Region Scheme or the City of Cockburn Town Planning Scheme.
Future land uses are instead guided by the Hope Valley - Wattleup Redevelopment Master Plan. The property is located within Precinct 4 (Central Transport) of the Master Plan. The Master Plan requires that, prior to individual precincts being developed, a structure plan and development contribution plan be in place, as well as connection to deep sewerage.
As part of its responsibilities under the Act, LandCorp is currently preparing a district structure plan and development contribution plan for Latitude 32, to coordinate the development of individual precincts and inform the overall infrastructure planning for the area.  It is anticipated that the structure plan will be released for public comment in the first half of 2010.
