With regard to the translocation of the Western Ringtail Possums, I ask: (a) what was the total number of Western Ringtail Possums released each year into the Conservation and Land Management/Department of Environment and Conservation estate from 1994-2012 inclusive; and (b) how many of these ringtail possums were: (i) adult females; (ii) dependent young; and (iii) adult males?

(a)-(b) Data in response to this question is tabulated below, with identification of male, female and dependent (pouch) young provided where data was available. Release of animals at specific sites usually occurred as phased release programs over a number of years and is thus provided in those year ranges.
