(1) (a) to (e)
The Department does not use the FTE allocated to deliver rehabilitation programs by exclusively employing clinical psychologists. Staff directly involved in the delivery of group based treatment programs to address offending behaviour are employed under the titles of Senior Clinical Intervention Officer or Clinical Intervention Officer. The qualification requirements for these positions are:
"Four year degree in Psychology or Social Work or relevant equivalent qualifications"
The number of FTE allocated is answered in response to Question 2
(2) The number of FTE Clinical Intervention Officers and Senior Clinical Intervention Officers is dependent upon two scenarios - those FTE positions established (i) and those FTE positions actually occupied (ii).
(a) (i) 43
(ii) 30.2
(b) (i) 41
(ii) 32.9
(c) (i) 46
