956. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to the regional enforcement
unit of the Western Australia Police Force.
(1) How many sworn officers and
other staff are currently assigned to the REU, by headcount and FTE?
(2) Are there any vacancies; and,
if so, what roles?
(3) What would be classified as
full strength of the REU, by FTE?
(4) Where is the REU based?
(5) How many vehicles are currently
assigned for use by the REU?

(1)–(5) The
Western Australia Police Force advises that the regional enforcement unit is
based at Midland and Capel. Due to operational sensitivities, staffing and
resourcing information below the district or divisional level is not released.
