I refer to the WorkSafe WA Business Plan 2012-13 and specifically the WorkSafe Priorities for 2012-13, and I ask —
(1) As part of the 'separation of inspection and investigation' roles will the 103 full time equivalent complement of WorkSafe inspectors be divided?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) how will the inspectors be divided; and
(b) how many inspectors will work in each division?
(3) If no to (1), how will the 'separation of inspection and investigation' take place?
(4) How will the separation of the inspection and investigation process alter the operation of the WorkSafe division?

(1), (3) & (4) The Department of Commerce has decided not to proceed with the separation of inspection and investigation roles.  Consequently, the 103 full time equivalent complement of WorkSafe inspectors will not be divided and there will be no change to the existing Directorates and teams.
(2) Not applicable.
