representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the structure and service
delivery model of the South West Aboriginal Medical Service.
(1) What are the weekly opening
hours for clients to access SWAMS?
(2) As at 13 June
2023, what is the total staffing levels—full-time, part-time and casual—of
medical and administrative SWAMS employees?
(3) As at 13 June
2023, how many full-time, part-time and casual doctors are employed under the
SWAMS umbrella?
(4) Are home visits undertaken by SWAMS
medical, clinical or community welfare staff?
(5) If yes to
(4), during what hours are these home visits offered to clients, and what
criteria is required for eligibility to receive a SWAMS home visit?

(1) The South
West Aboriginal Medical Service lists its opening hours on its publicly
available website. Opening hours as at 14
June 2023 are as follows: on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9.00 am to 5 .00
pm; on Wednesday from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm; and on Thursday from 9.00 am to 8.00
pm.
(2)–(5) The
Department of Health cannot respond as primary health care falls within the
remit of the federal government.
