(1) As at 21/2/2008 the Dept of Education and Training employed 158 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teachers (ie a teacher as defined under the Education Act).
(2) Of the teachers referred to in (1) there were
(a) 128 in Primary Schools; and
(b) 23 in Secondary Schools
(3) Of the teachers referred to in (1) there were
(a) 114 in regional schools
(b) Refer to tabled paper
(4) In 2008 there were 61 students who commenced the Department's conversion course with Curtin University
