Main Roads—Maintenance
1044. Hon Steve Martin to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Transport:
I refer to my
question without notice 1016 in which I asked for figures for the Main Roads
overdue maintenance backlog, as defined in the 2009 and 2016 Auditor General
reports. I note that no data was provided in answer to the question.
(1) Does the dollar figure requested in the
question exist?
(2) If no to (1), given that the question asked
for the most recent figure, does this mean that Main Roads has never once
calculated the figure?
(3) Does the kilometres of road figure requested
in the question exist?
(4) If no to (3), given that the question asked
for the most recent figure, does this mean that Main Roads has never once
calculated the figure?
(5) Can the data requested
in question without notice 1016 be provided, and, if not, why not?

answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(5) I note

Roads on this topic and have been advised that further information will be
provided in those responses.
