I refer to the Department of Housing’s Country New Living and Country Urban Renewal programs, which include as a project the revitalisation of Withers in Bunbury. Also, the Minister for Transport has been working with the local member for Bunbury, Hon John Castrilli, after he proactively approached the minister to discuss and develop further plans for Withers. This included meetings with local residents that resulted in issues related to long-term problem properties being resolved. The minister looks forward to continuing to work with the local member, Hon John Castrilli, to resolve issues and develop plans relating to this area in the future.
