I refer to a key election commitment made in May 2022 by Tania Lawrence, the self-described 'fighter for Hasluck', where $1.25 million was committed to create an 'incident response and communication failover centre', and I ask: (a) can the Minister advise the House what an 'incident response and communication failover centre' is; (b) has the State received the $1.25 million from the Albanese Labor Government for the centre; (c) what is the estimated cost of the centre; (d) has planning commenced for the centre; (e) where will the centre be located; (f) who will manage the centre; and (g) please table any correspondence between the Minister's office, the Member for Hasluck, and the Australian Government in relation to delivery of this election commitment?

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) advises:
(a) An Incident Control Centre (ICC) can either be a fixed or mobile facility which provides the necessary accommodation, technology and logistics to support the operation of a large-scale incident or other emergency. The facility allows for command, control and coordination activities of large-scale events to be facilitated effectively.
(b) The Final Commonwealth Federal Funding Agreement is in negotiations with the Commonwealth.
(c)–(e) DFES continues to explore all options that will enhance Western Australia’s emergency response and management capabilities.
